What is the Phoenixpreventer?
The Phoenixpreventer is a high-grade stainless-steel solution, purpose-built for underground and multi-storey car parks, precisely at the designated spaces for electric vehicles. In the event of a fire, it is swiftly positioned between the floor and the burning vehicle. Its integrated water jet system directly floods the battery with extinguishing water, while simultaneously cooling the floor beneath.

Technology and Components
The Phoenix Preventer is a pioneering safety system, engineered from premium stainless steel (grade 1.4404) and purpose-built for use in underground and multi-storey car parks at designated charging and parking bays for electric vehicles.
With a compact height of just 70 mm, it integrates seamlessly into existing structures while meeting the demanding load requirements of modern car parks.
In the event of a battery fire, the Phoenix Preventer becomes the decisive safeguard: positioned beneath the burning vehicle, its integrated water-jet system floods the battery directly with extinguishing water, while simultaneously cooling the surrounding concrete structure. This dual action swiftly reduces temperatures at the fire source, prevents damage to the car park’s structural integrity, and protects the crucial steel reinforcement within the concrete from heat exposure.
With its secure dual water connection – one to the building’s mains water supply and another for the fire brigade’s external hose system – the Phoenix Preventer guarantees maximum reliability in critical situations.

Which preventer is best
suited for each application?


Phoenix Preventer Compact Mobile designed for installation in underground car parks, multi-storey car parks, and public spaces with designated electric vehicle parking areas. Similar to a fire extinguisher, this Preventer is installed at a specific location and can be deployed within a range of 25 metres in the event of a fire. A prerequisite is the installation of a water connection via a hose reel.
This type of Preventer does not require a power supply and is equipped with an optical smoke detector at the installation site to indicate its position in case of heavy smoke development during a fire.
Of course, this version can also be flexibly used in private settings.


Phoenix Preventer Private Guard
Protect what matters most – your home, your garage, and your vehicle. The Phoenix Preventer Private Guardian is designed specifically for private garages and carports, ensuring reliable protection for your parking space.
Equipped with cutting-edge electronics, intelligent sensor-based programming, and a dual water connection system, it provides the highest level of safety in the event of a battery fire. By detecting rising temperatures at multiple measuring points beneath the vehicle battery, the system responds instantly and automatically by flooding the battery and surrounding floor area.
Installed either flush with the parking surface or mounted directly onto the floor, the Private Guardian ensures maximum monitoring the moment your electric vehicle is parked. The result: advanced fire protection technology at home – safeguarding your property and minimising damage with precision and reliability.


Phoenix Preventer Marine Guard is a specialised version of the Phoenix Preventer developed for watercraft such as car ferries and vehicle transport ships. Like the compact mobile version, it can be installed either on or below deck, with the option of fixed installation also available. Due to the specific structural requirements on ships, alternative water supply components are used, which are similar in principle and function to those in other Preventer models. The Marine Guard Preventer provides enhanced fire safety at sea, contributes to the protection of ship structures, and helps reduce fire-related damage.
